I was sworn in as an attorney in 1982, and now in my 4th decade of practice, have spent virtually all of my time as a residential real estate closing attorney. My italicizing ‘closing’ is intended to be a very sobering description of how I operate, as I take very seriously my clients’ intent to close on their real estate transaction. Towards that end, I’ll do almost anything in my power, using the experience I’ve amassed over my career, and the skills I continue to hone, to ensure that a closing happens on time.
While I can discuss with you the technical things that I do to represent a client, the best description of what I do is that of a guide – taking you by the hand in order to avoid the many pitfalls that can plague a closing. As I do that, while I work with realtors and loan officers, I like to think that my skills and vigilence help them avoid having to pull their hair out!
Check out what I find important when I represent the best interests of my clients.
